Our Journey

Our journey began in the year 1983, under the name ‘ROYAL TRADING COMPANY’.

  • We also strive and look for ways to constantly improve everything we do, so that the final product is of the best quality, to you, our customer!

Boosted by the entrepreneurial spirit and leveraging expertise in the trading industry, our Founder Mr.S.Mohammed Ali has formed “ROYAL TRADING COMPANY" in 1983 as a small trader of edible oils in the quaint little district of Erode, Tamilnadu. Commitment to work, continuous improvement and constant search for better quality has ensured that within several years, the company extended its reach through the length and breadth of the country with the majority of the sales coming from Coconut Oil under the name “COW BRAND”.


In the year 2000, Royal Trading Company was renamed as Royal Food Oils and started manufacturing coconut oil in Kangayam, Tamil Nadu. This is believed to be one of the highest-selling coconut oil in the North and North-West Indian Market.


During the year 2007, based on the success garnered from the manufacturing activities we have acquired “Commander Veg Oil Industry”, which had its own brand line under the name - "COMMANDER" since 1963! A legacy spanning 57 years!


Under a decade later, in 2016, a new venture "ROYAL GREEN REFINERIES PRIVATE LIMITED" came into inception. This venture mainly focuses on the Edible and Personal care segment.
